Travelling in the Ukraine

Hi,

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question - but I am looking to travel down the Dnieper river starting in Kiev next spring with friends and have heard rumors that some towns/cities in the Ukraine have stopped issuing insulin to diabetics and am worried if this is true? (in case of an emergency of need some). Any confirmation of these rumors being true would be a great help.

Have you contacted the Ukrainian embassy / consulate in the UK for help in this matter?

It sounds like an amazing trip. How long will you be gone for as that affects insulin amounts.

Thanks for the responses. Have emailed the Ukraine embassy to see if any truth in the rumours to see how I would need to plan amounts etc depending on how long we plan to go.
