Hi, I have my Libre for 6 months now and had no skin problems. Today, I took off my old Libre on my right arm and was left with a reddish mark. The Libre sticks to me like a limpet and today, it was holding on to my arm for dear life
Also, when I attached the new one to my left arm, it felt uncomfortable and It feels tender too.
Has anyone had this or similar, TIA :)scv20191219_132232 - Edited.jpg

Hello Robin, I got that too but I’m not allergic to it or anything. Is it painful? Mine wasn’t itchy or painful, I cleaned it and moisturised it then moved to a different site for a new one. It slowly healed

Thanks Mei, it was uncomfortable at the time and unusual for me, so I will see how it goes in 2 weeks time,

Merry Christmas to you :joyful:

RRB - they stick like limpets to me too.

Sometimes I get a mark like that, but it's gone by the next day. I am allergic to Elastoplast; but only the old stretch sort, but to be honest, I just viewed it as having irritated the skin, prizing it off!

I hope yours disappears too.

RRB I have not had one do that to me luckily. Only once did I have a bit of discomfort on insertion but that soon went! I have to peel them off me after the 2 weeks as well.....keep an eye on this one you have in at the mo

Lookys bruisy to me so arnica may help. Mine sting occasionally on insertion and I also have limpet feeling when I remove but on the plus side I have never accidentally bumped one off!

I've seen my fair share of Libre skin reactions/burns, pic does look more bruise like hopefully made as you peeled it off. If you are starting to react to it each one will generally get worse and worse the more you wear them, and itch like fury - fingers crossed it was a one off Libre Love Bite!

I like that, a Libre Love Bite lol :hilarious:

We also have Libre and often when removing it it leaves a mark, some worse than others but usually cleared up after a few days.
