Think my glucometer is broke

So within 10 minutes, I've took 3 test on my Glucometer. First was 8.9. Second was 8.0 and third was 8.5?

Sound like a faulty machine?

All meters must have a ± 15% accuracy, so as far as I can see your meter is OK.

That's not unusual, they are not pin point accurate.

Hi,

It sounds like the usual "cup of tea" with meters.
Testing within a few minutes of eachother & throwing up a readings within a fraction of the last.
Your numbers arn't ouragiously different, I'd roll with the "8.5" if logging the results..?

Even if you take 2 test from the same spot of blood you will get different results should be with 15%. Don’t forget they are not lab grade machines
