Though having good control on BS, can one susceptible to diabetics complications??
Depends, I think. What would you call good control?Though having good control on BS, can one susceptible to diabetics complications??
I diagnosed in November 2019 T2 but despite good control over sugar, doctor diagnosed me with neuropathy. My uncle and my mom have been diabetic since last 10 years, they don't follow diet still they don't have any complication yet. But why this happening with me i am 28 years old.Depends, I think. What would you call good control?
I think there isn't much known about diabetics keeping close to normal numbers in the long run, because this has only become possible with frequent at home testing or CGM, relatively new knowledge on low carbing etc.
Those things haven't been here long enough to see if there are people with normal-like bg who get complications after many decades.
I'm sorry about the neuropathy, must be very hard for you.I diagnosed in November 2019 T2 but despite good control over sugar, doctor diagnosed me with neuropathy. I only now see you were diagnosed only a short while ago. Usually it takes many years to develop diabetic neuropathy, even with constant high blood glucose.I diagnosed in November 2019 T2 but despite good control over sugar, doctor diagnosed me with neuropathy.
Fasting it is between 110 to 125I'm sorry about the neuropathy, must be very hard for you.
What kind of numbers are you seeing when you say you have good control?
