Have added a comprehensive diet questionnaire and even lists keto and low carb as options. The more of us that us this app and particularly this dietary info the more likely we’ll get some useful answers based on what we are actually doing

I did this questionnaire this morning and it shut down part way through then I couldn't find it on the app to complete it. :rolleyes:
 
Am I missing something? What is the point of collecting symptom data from people without the virus?
 
Funny I’d just done this survey before going on here. It would be interesting to know the results.

The idea is they can monitor how symptoms develop pre testing taking place. I think this might be how some additional symptoms are being highlighted as cause for concern beyond the initial 2 now 3 symptoms.

Also clusters of people reporting appropriate symptoms can alert authorities to potential outbreaks before the same people get tested (not everyone does).

Knowing how many are having what symptoms and what the outcome of the tests are might be enlightening. At testing sites the specific symptoms are not checked against the results.

Finally having a full picture of someone healthy who then gets the virus could well be informative as to who and how it affects them.

Better than the 20k ONS household study that's for sure - I was randomly chosen for that study and have since been tested multiple times (don't worry no sign of infection so far!). But they never asked me about any medical background or how I've been feeling, any symptoms etc.

I think that kind of basic info would be more informative than the black/white is she infected or not this week? :D I appreciate the work the Zoe team are trying to do. IMO it is far more comprehensive if a little more subjective with some of the questions, but overall I believe it is better.
