Timing of Insulin

I am T2 female 59. I have recently reduced my HbA1C from 75 to 42. I am also reducing my insulin dose. However, I am getting high readings last thing at night (11-12) and I would like to bring these back down. Could I change my dosage time from bedtime to before tea? I am on Humulin I kwikpen.

There is no reason why you can't change the timing of the shot.
Please liaise with your HCP regarding this.
To be fair, not being familiar with Humulin I. There could be a possibility the action of it maybe tailing off early.
So you have a "dead zone" before the next injection kicks in?? (With the higher night readings.)

Testing is key. Nice work with the A1c.
