I was diagnosed a couple of weeks ago and I've just bought a kit to check my bloods.
I've read on here that I need to check my bloods before eating and 2 hours after the first bite.
I just wondered, do people still snack or do you tend to settle into a three meal pattern on lower carb? If you do snack, do you test?
I have to avoid very low carb such as ketogenic and IF as I'm also hypothyroid (with fatty liver, high blood pressure and fibromyalgia - stress has wrecked me) and it plays havoc with my system. I'm hoping my urge to snack will diminish with better eating, I was just curious how people handle this?
