What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Some news from home - MrsBRS little Fiat was nicked from the car park where it was left as she was working with stroke survivors. She's breathing fire as you'd expect. At home we have a garage where both steeds are locked up but you have to wonder why anyone would target a car, at a centre with an NHS pass on the windscreen...

Not yet found...Sigh.
Exasperating and very sad - hope there was nothing of personal value in it and that the insurance works quickly to resolve

Morening again all.

Many thanks for all best wishes.

Liver blood tests all fine, no concerns all all, a routine liver ultrasound scan planned, this is routine, it appears that with blood tests they do not need to perform a liver biopsy which involves 6 hours flat on your back and a large supply of urine bottles :) . More blood tests, again nothing out of the ordinary.
Later on today I shall try and catch up on the posts, and hug about the stolen Fiat.
Take care all.
All sounds good, take care

Blinking heck @BRSBRI
No words for this...
Hugs for MrsBRS

Thanks D. Just got a WhatsApp saying it's been found, badly damaged and likely a write-off...

Nothing of note in the car at all, so that was a good thing.

Sigh. Insurance will sort I'm sure quickly.

Good morning everyone - a bit late today - I blame the “can’t make it’s mind up” weather
The wonder wheel of piri piri Portuguese style chicken cooked in the Ninja came in at 4.8 this am

A smashing day yesterday down on the sea front - blue skies and not many people about. Watched a program last night about the Portuguese visual artist Paula Rego - such a tragic life in some ways but her art is wonderful (well, I think so) - her figures are not of the pretty. I once bought a very large poster from an exhibition of her work at the Tate, Liverpool entitled ‘Snow White Swallows the Poisoned Apple’ - my mother pinned it up in her art studio.

Art today - some trees on a mountain side - the rice paper got a bit crinkled but I can’t be bothered to iron it. Hope that everyone is having a great National Everything You Do is Right Day. Time for a late koffy.

And at 627pm the news from home just keeps on coming ...one of our daughters has announced she's getting engaged to another RAF pilot. This is when you realise you're getting far too old!

MrsBRS and I have met the fella, nice chap but it still leaves a lump in your throat. The plan to be alcohol free tonight has been abandoned. ;)

Excellent back story to your painting of Welsh dragons. Another superb piece of art that should always stay with the story.

My reply to this has messed itself up twice so far and I had to delete.
Let us see if this one goes through correctly...

Thank you very much for your compliments, and comments @dunelm

What a pain. :( Hope it's found quickly and undamaged.

Congratulations @BRSBRI

I have just been sent our rendition of Now is the Month of Maying, virtually recorded and assembled. Sounds more of us than there really is, the joys of technology. I'm playing guitar, tabor and singing Bass, Mrs MC is playing Soprano and Treble Recorder and singing Soprano. The other players are on Tenor Recorder, Bass Concertina and Soprano Concertina. I have added it to the Sound Cloud account of Lockdown Music....

What a racket! :)

Now is the Month of Maying.

Enjoy or not.

It might look crinkled to you @dunelm
But from the perspective of looking at it on my iPad from (presumably), the photo you took of it, that crinkledness helps towards the steep cliffs rocks effect. I like it very much!
