new type 2 on insulin

Hi im a type 2 on insulin last year in lockdown i was put on insulin im so confused as to how much to take can anyone give advice

Welcome to the forums.

Unfortunately we cannot advise on doasge as it's against forum policy - things can easily go wrong with insulin.

Didn't your doctor or diabetes nurse give you any advice at all?

I feel like you should contact your GP or other professional first. What advice were you given when they first put you on insulin?

EDIT: I wrote this before I saw Urban racers post, hence the repetition!
 
thats the problem i cant get any appointments for this and i really feel like i have been forgotten

no just a 5 min speech on phone and I have lost memory to thanks for the note i dont wont to do anything that not allowed thank you

You pack of insulin should state the recommended dose on the prescription label
