I have just seen the results of my blood test taken yesterday online - it is only for the HbA1c and the others for cholesterol are not showing.

It says my HbA1c is now 75, having dropped from 107 at the end of December. Is this good or bad, considering I have been walking almost 10,000 steps every day and have been strict with my diet?

Looks pretty good to me.. depending sightly on what sort of diet you have been following I guess.

With medication or not?

It is actually from 109 to 75. No particular diet, just lots of fruit and veg, no cakes etc. On two Metformin twice a day

A really good start. To get it down further and faster you could try going low carb

It’s definitely going in the right direction which is great and better for your health outcomes. But being honest there is still has some room to continue improving.

Have you seen these?
Intro to T2 and low carb. https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/blog-entry/the-nutritional-thingy.2330/
All the things I wish I’d been told earlier https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/th...ish-i’d-been-told-at-type-2-diagnosis.173817/

they explain how many of us get improved values. Broadly the fewer carbs you eat the lower your figures. Some dive right on it and others make small changes one at a time.
