Libre login problems

Hi all,

My partner and I were trying to install LibreLinkUp on her phone so she could see my readings, but she downloaded the wrong app by mistake (LibreLink - why are the names so similar?). Without checking the app I gave her my login details, then realised the issue.

Now, although I can scan myself using my phone, none of my data is being uploaded to LibreView. We looked at her app and couldn't see any way to log my account out of her phone, so we tried just deleting the app - but again, no dice. I can't get to my account settings (because, I believe, I'm technically not logged in on my phone) or view connected apps, and my data still isn't being uploaded.

I can't even upload my data to LibreView manually, as only actual Abbott readers are supported for that - not phones.

I can't be the only person who's encountered this. Does anyone know how to fix it, or have I just lost the last week+ of data?

Have you called Abbott for their advice?
Their support is usually very helpful.

I don't know if it will do any good or indeed any harm, but you can delete a device from the Libreview reports page. I think it's just for report inclusion.

Other than that no ideas apart from calling Abbott.

Yep, their advice was to screenshot all of my data from the last five days and uninstall then reinstall the app. Obviously I'd have a record of the data, but it wouldn't go to LibreView.

Thanks, I've just done that but as you suspected, it doesn't seem to have made a difference. Again, seems poorly designed to give us the option to view devices and then not be able to do anything like select a primary one as the reader.

AFAIK the primary reader is the one you started it with. Your phone. However just loading the LibreLink app even if you tried to scan shouldn't take precedence.

If you reinstall the app on the other phone maybe you could use that for the rest of the sensor.???

Yes, annoyingly I think that might be the only option - WHY there's no way to just log out of the app is beyond me.
