Hello Everyone,
At the start of December I had a small Stroke and was diagnosed with T2 diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol. Sometime later I was told that my mmol was 107. Since the Stroke I have been taking Metformin 500mg twice a day, have lost just over 2 stone and given up sugar and refined carbs. I haven’t seen my GP or anyone except the Practice Nurse when she did the blood tests.
I have just had the results back and mmol is 55, still quite a bit above normal range. I want to speak to GP but can only get a phone appt at end of March. Am I expecting too much in 3 months or this about what I should expect?
Sorry if this is a daft question!
