hi
i cant get my libre sensor to stay on
ive tried everything i think

when it gets put where the pkg says to
i wack it off going thru doorways
and i can barely reach to scan the reader
so i tried my chest but im a tummy sleeper
ive tried huge bandaids
ive tried the things u can buy
for them online
some sort of huge flowery looking adhesive
ive tried duct tape
but that hurts

any other suggestions?
do i just suffer thru the duct tape?
and struggle to reach it?
in the proper place?

Have you tried one of the elasticated bands with a 3D printed Libre "holder" that you can buy on eBay?
Thankfully, they stick like limpets to my arms but a number of people have enthused about these bands.

I would definitely avoid duct tape. It is not designed to stick to flesh and maybe doing harm.

Regarding the accessing the sensor to scan it, are you vaguely technical? The reason I ask is you could try an alternate app like xDrip or Diabox which hijack the Bluetooth signal and send the readings direct to your phone so you only need to scan to start a sensor.
Unfortunately, these are unofficial apps written by techies for techies so not great if you are scared of technology. The limited documentation assume s you know a fair amount.

idk how to get it there
you mean like not as far back?

Hi,

Just the opposite side of the arm to where suggested by Abbott. Its less of a contortion act when scanning.? Lift the arm slightly & reach across with yer scanner using a freehand.. :)

I’ve been putting a cover over mine for nearly 5 years with absolutely no issues.
