Hey folks, new guy here - thanks for having me!
So I have a question. I have pre-diabetes/borderline T2, and my doctor put me on Ozempic, but after the free samples were gone my insurance wouldn't cover it. So he switched me to Trulicity, which my insurance will cover. I started for one month on the 0.75mg, then switched to 1.5mg for the last 6 or 7 months. I'm one of the lucky ones and have had zero side effects (that I can tell). At any rate, my doctor just changed my dosage to 3.0mg. I still have 4x 1.5mg injections left in the fridge (I get a 3 month supply at a time).
So, my question is, can I take 2 of the 1.5mg injections at one time for a total of 3.0mg? I'd hate to see these go to waste. Plus, it'll give me an extra 2 weeks grace period if I ever forget to re-up my 3.0mg prescription if I can do the 2x1.5mg option.
Thanks!
