faulty libre sensor 2 - please read

Hello all.

I hope you are well.

I would appreciate any help in this, I’ve found similar cases on here but I thought that I would double check just in case as I see no harm.

Every now and then I put on a new libre 2 sensor and it’s fine for a day and then the sensor just has my sugars stuck at 2.9 or low sugars for a full day and my actual sensor says otherwise.

Am I doing anything wrong? or are these faulty sensors? And should I keep it on and let it self sort.

Like I said it’s been happening for a while so I’d rather check and see what I can do.

Call Abbott. If they are faulty they'll replace them free of charge, no problem.
Some if us put one on, then wait 24 hours or so before activation as we get odd readings. Others don't seem to have this but as Abott says only need an hour they should replace any that don't work in that time

I normally apply mine the night before current runs out.
For some reason, I completely forgot last night. Applied new sensor at 10am this morning, haven't been able to get a reading at all, keep getting the "10 minute" error.
Just had a bit of a soak in the bath, see if that kicks it into gear. If not, will be the first time needing a replacement



Update - seems to have done the trick, although will be finger pricking for a couple of days to be sure.

So by getting a bath help with your sensor problems? Was it the water or the exercise/movement that got your sensor to work?
