Had bloods for type and lada a couple of years ago now a new diabetes dr wants testing again so do these previous negative resuts change ??

Depends.
In early LADA C-peptide can be normal or low normal but it will decline over the years.
Various antibodies can be tested, but while a positive result is indicative for autoimmune diabetes, a negative result doesn't rule it out.

Do you know what tests you had originally and what the results were to make your doctor decide it was not LADA?

Can recall c pep and autoantibody but thats it

So I expect the antibody was negative, which isn't conclusive. The C-peptide points to T2 if very high, to T1 if very low, inconclusive if in the normal range.
Thanks for that I was mystified why she was ordering a repeat
