Needing some urgent advice . Been using my One touch Verio to take my BS for years same machine . Had a couple of these Rachel yogurts last night and as I don’t test very often and the machine didn’t work a while back but rather than get new batteries I fiddled about with the current and got it going again , anyway I tested myself 2hours , 4 hours , 6hours & and 8 hours after eating and like getting 10.5 then 9.7 then once or twice 7.8 & 7.9 then 10.5 exactly again ?

I’m a diet controlled diabetic and normal readings are around 5.8 , can anyone make head or tail of this ?

Ex 23/10 strips use by date , 12.3 Carbs of which sugars 12.1g x2 , I take readings before and after eating and are normal when I eat the right thing of course but never seen these readings so long after ,was diagnosed 8 years ago not had meds for years , hopefully it’s the old verio that’s gone faulty?
 
I would change the batteries, use control solution if you have any and try again if the same then maybe get a new meter.
 
It was the frigging machine , probably the battery . Bought a Sure Smart 5.1 straight away , the old verio was 9.7 wow very faulty
