Hi My name is Corinne, I am new to this forum; I am coming up to the BIG 60. I live with my hubby who has type 2 diabetes (diet only) & in remission. I love cooking & joined as I need more information around meal planning.

Considering your husband is in remission without the need for medication, it sounds like you do the meal planning quite well. :)

My question is that he is still losing weight and I feel I am starving him by reducing his carbs down too much; ibs there a guideline? I know everyone is different and some foods cause a spike with some and not others.

If you reduce one food group (carbs) you'll have to increase another (fats/protein) or you'll be inadvertently on a low calorie diet.
Can it be that this is the problem?

What does he usually eat in a day?
