12 Week Meal Planner

Hi All, i have just started following the 12 Week meal planner recommended by diabetes.co.uk. the portion sizes seem huge and i dont seem to be losing any weight. Wondered if i am doing something wrong or has anyone else experienced this?

It's been a while since I looked at the low carb program, when they first brought it out. From what I remember it guides you through week by week, teaching how to adopt a low carb diet and what alternatives you can replace the carbs with.
I don't remember a meal planner as such, but I suppose it has changed over the years. Any meal plans or suggestions are always designed to be adapted by the users, if you think the portion sizes are too large then alter things to suit your needs.
But bear in mind that it's not a quick fix, a crash diet, it should be really looked on as a lifestyle change. The aim is to find an enjoyable diet that you can stick to easily.
How long have you been on the program?
