Hiya,
Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I went to a chiro yesterday for the first time as I have the posture of a cooked shrimp and am having terrible tightness, tension and pain in my suboccipital area and trap muscles causing jaw pain and headaches etc.
She did 2 or 3 adjustments, acupuncture in my shoulders and some massaging/cream to settle my muscles. My sugars were fine when I came out, however, I have woken up on a rather ridiculous 17mmol this morning and not responding to bolus. I had a keto protein shake for breakfast - took 4 units - 3 hours later I am still at 16.9 and feeling very hungry and light headed.
I know chiro adjustments can cause a lot of things to happen to the body such as toxins being released and some even experience cold-like symptoms afterwards, and the adjustments she said are going to have an impact on the nervous system and I may feel weird for a few days.
Anyone else had stupid high sugars after this? Or insulin resistance?
