Easy food when travelling - sandwiches and wraps?

I appreciate the recommendation as well. We often to 'make your own pizzas' with the kids and I've been a little worried about how I can still participate, and I think those wraps might be the answer.

Nut balls...sounds good! Do u have a recipe you can share?

I just mix peanut butter (or another nut butter, with a little vanilla, a little sweetener and enough coconut flour to bind it (not too much so ass slowly as it can feel dry in your mouth).

But here are lots of recipes for fat bombs/nut butter balls:

Use a thin omelette as a wrap, personally I go classic cheese & ham but you can flll with whatever you want or cold chaffles as "bread rolls"
I second that. Quick and easy option is omelet and Greek yogurt along with fresh fruits and nuts. I don't hesitate to take the salads too. :p

I have found low carb wraps in Tesco. Called - Deli Kitchen. 6 Carb Lite wraps. 14.6 carbs per wrap. 29.3 carbs per 100 grams Found them next to the normal wraps near the bread section. I bought several packs today.... £1.50 for 6 wraps.
I thought I was onto a winner as I love sandwich wraps but at 14.6g of carbs per wrap when I’m trying to be under 20g a day is too high for me. Oh darn! :p Continue the search!
heavenlyfan on YouTube has a recipe for very low carb wraps if you can prepare ahead of time and you can store in fridge for a few days

Returning to the original question (I am sure it is too late for the OP but may be useful for someone else), if you are buying food whilst you are out and about to eat there and then or on a train journey, what low carb options are available?
That means, you have no time to prepare yourself a salad or buy wraps from the internet or ... All you have is an average supermarket "sandwich" option.

My suggestions are
- cooked sausages or something like pepparami
- olives
- nuts
- salad
- crustless quiche (you can leave most of the pasty if the crustless is not available)

I’d advise caution with sausages as many are pretty high carb packed with fillers

and I’d add egg mayo or coleslaw tubs. I carry a teaspoon for emergency options like this. (Not keen on the oils used but needs must and it’s better than bread).

many supermarkets now do rollitos (cheese and meat rolled together). Some do biltong like meat snacks in the fridges or dried versions near the crisps and nuts. Check the carbs as they are not all made equal. Jerky tends to be much higher carbs than biltong.
