As you all probably know ,I’m very new to this game of Diabetes, sorry it’s certainly no game getting your head around it ,
after much effort with surgery, I’ve a date for my first meeting with the diabetic nurse , I know I saw a link on here what to ask the nurse on your first meeting, but I’m not savvy enough to re find it , help please.

although I’m pre diabeti will I be able to have whatever it’s called to see if I’m going up or down, I feel it would help me to understand diabetes.

Questions re first diabetic nurse appointment tomorrow.

I've known I was diabetic for almost four weeks (my hba1c was 54) and have been low carb for about three. I only had one day of readings with my meter before I opted for low carb and these numbers were 12 to 18. Almost immediately my numbers dropped and are now almost always high 5s to mid 7s...

Hi @Thornliebank Don't be too disappointed if they don't do the thingie again (I think you mean hba1c) I asked the diabetic nurse and she said no. I think they tend to do it three monthly and you have had one recently
