2023/24 Football Season.

Tidy win.
Only one team trying to play football... headlocks not included.
Raith dropped two points today, so could happen next weekend.

Sorry to see the HTFC result, pen in 100th minute. :banghead:

Would you Adam and Eve it. We were winning. Bristol city equalised wait for it in the 10th minute of stoppage time. How unlucky can you get. And to make matters worse, Biringham won 3.0 so now we sit back in the relegation zone by 1 point. Home to Swansea next week. Last chance saloon cos the following match is with Birmingham. I'm trying to remain positive and think it's not over till the fat lady sings. This is agony.

Final run in. Swansea, Birmingham and Ipswich. I really cannot see us getting anything and sad to say I think League one looks imminent now. We were robbed yesterday by that flipping ref. A lot of our fans were livid with her she allowed the game to go on longer than it should have done. I think now the Fat lady is warming up :( :(

Lady refs eh?
Whodathought!

Well I did.
Having seen the inclusion of officials, needing separate changing facilities.
Reminds me of our first, well it didn't happen, cos we didn't have them.
League wasn't happy, nor did the officials.
So the league insisted and club had to rearrange the facilities, and it wasn't easy. The club shop had to forego its personal sppace, stock had to be moved, kitchen went.
Shower installed and new room suitably decorated and fitted out.
Talk about cheap and nasty!!!!!

I'm glad to see any official that can actually officiate.
We do get some, that are just not good and all of them are usually male.
I think this extra, extra time malarky, needs to be reviewed.

That sounds like a lot of polarva.

Yep. Really sad about it. I remember being there with my boys when FGR were promoted to the Conference (National League) sorry to see them go back there.

It wasn't a good weekend for Leeds or Arsenal either.
I was hoping that they could avoid relegation, so many happy trips there before covid.
I'm not sure what went wrong but the manager going around covid time must have had a huge impact.
Wemberley, semi finals in play offgames, league battles and a magical mystery tour, when we got lost around the countryside around Nailsworth on our first trip down there in the greenery called Gloucestershire.
Made a few friends from a friendly, hospitable club.
Except the food!

It's the pressure to win. ...
Always catches teams out.
Usually opponents have no pressure, so play with a bit of freedom.

Hopefully FGR can bounce back.

It also wasn't a good weekend for us too. I echo your sentiments about FGR. Hopefully they will bounce back up.

Well I reckon another nail will be hammered in to our coffin tomorrow afternoon. Birmingham take on Rotherham and I cannot see them Losing that one. We travel to Swansea and need to win and hope and pray that Birmingham do some how lose. Trouble is we play Birmingham next week and then the final match will be at Home to Ipswich. Not looking good :(
Good luck to all our teams playing this weekend. Hope they all win.

At home to Ayr United and a win would secure the championship and also promotion.
Fingers are crossed.

There will be no need for a pitch inspection as it is perfect...
unlike the ploughed field down the road...

Good luck to all our teams.

Home to AFC Wombles Penultimate game for us. And most to play for.
The pain is nearly over.

C'mon Utd, Scots variety obviously.

Shocking news about facup replays not happening.
And not on terrestrial television!
Its all about money!

Good luck mate.

Looks Like the Rotherham v Birmingham match was suspended due to a medical emergency in the crowd. The Ref took the players off the field and the match will resume at 3:45pm. So it looks like that will be a late result. Meanwhile we approach Half time and the Swans look the strongest. I hope that fan will be ok.

Thank you for the shout!

Agree completely about the FA Cup...
and the FA's tweets must have been written by someone with no clue...
