2024/25 Football Season

I have just recalled that Les Parry a former manager/physio, is still at man u, as a recovery therapist/ physio, mainly the youth and age groups from u23s.
Why not give him the job?

It will be so good to see the twelve or so ex Rovers on their staff and players.
Can't see us winning.
 
Well we certainly hit the target tonight. Just the wrong bloody target and sent Tamworth through to round 2. Typical lose to rubbish like that. Still it's very easy to score in your own net. Plenty have done it. Looking ahead we can concentrate on the league and go beat Creepy Crawley Next Saturday. And that is closely followed by a Home tie with non other than Man Utd U21's in the EFL Trophy. Lord only knows what will happen that day. Looking to the bright side we are still 5th in the table going in to next weeks game.

Now I know why you are not as high as you should be in the league.
Not very good.
Tamworth were decent.

I did expect us to get beat.
And we did.
Played on for half an hour, got the first goal.
Coldham equalised just before half-time.
Second half they were better and it was no surprise when they scored again.
We were awful after that.
Not happy, it's such a mess.

Bad luck mate. At least you can concentrate on the League.

Aberdeen get slacked by Celtic 6-0
Rangers pip Motherwell 2-1 and meet Celtic in the final.
Not much change there then...
 
Away to Creepy Crawley tomorrow afternoon. Can we put the poor performance of last Saturday's shock cup exit behind us and bring 3 points back up the M1. We start in 7th place.

Disappointing performance by our lads. Crawley scored first and we equalised then they scored again and we equalised. Finished 2-2. We really screwed that one up. Perfect chance to jump in to 4th place and we couldn't make it. Stuck in 8th place now. Grrrrr. Home to Charlton in 2 weeks time.
