Diabetes!!
Had something to eat and my blood glucose didn’t even rise like it normally would! CGM was stuck on 10.8. Checked with a finger prick and that was 10. Then CGM jumped from 10.8 to 11.8 and now 13.2!! I’m lost!! Don’t know what’s going on. IMG_3388.pngIMG_3391.pngIMG_3392.pngIMG_3393.png

So what did you eat, was it something you regularly eat, how long between eating and the screenshot, did you take insulin with what you ate and how much?
Are you puzzled by the slight rise after eating or puzzled because the food hardly made you rise?

Without more information, we can't really know what your question is, so please tell us some more. ;)

I only ate a pre-made Ham & Cheddar Cheese Wrap. Occasionally. Not sure between the eating and timing. I just know it took ages for BG to rise. Yes I took insulin and 5 units. I am puzzled by both

The rise was only 2.4 mmol/l before coming down again.
To me it looks like you dosed perfectly for your meal, this is almost a flat line.

Still puzzled as to why it took so long to rise when normally it wouldn’t take that long

T2D here. Rarely comment on T1 threads but as a diet managed T2 it gives some perspective on questions such as yours here.

The composition of meals and the components in them can sometimes affect how blood glucose levels rise. If there's significant levels of protein, fat or fibre, it can cause the carbs to be digested slower, thereby reducing blood glucose impact (sometimes), or delaying the rise. Environmental factors (e.g. temperature etc) and activity during/after meals can also have an effect on BG.

Were the wraps high protein/fibre? Were the wraps lower carb than you usually use? Has the manufacturer changed the ingredients or recipe? Did it have more ham or cheese than usual? Were you active during or shortly after consuming the meal, then stopped to rest? All these things can affect how carbs are digested and how insulin is absorbed afterwards.

As @Antje77 said though, I'd agree the rise in BG you observed is nothing to worry about.
