monitor not charging

i have plugged in the monitor over2 hours ago but is still showing an empty battery with the electric symbol over it.
is it fully charged or completely empty?

Can you give a bit more info on which monitor you are talking about etc. your post is a bit vague for anyone to give you any advice

What symbol does it change to when you unplug?
The battery with the electric symbol on most devices simply means it's currently charging.
