Anyone having big reliability issues with Freestyle Libre 2 Plus sensors?

I've had four Libre 2 Plus sensors. The first one was OK and I've had the other three all given an error today. Unsurprisingly I've got none left now. Dreadful things it seems.
Looking at options.
3 error in row is not really that common, were they all from the same batch?
which error messages did u receive?

I know, I've never had more than one before. First and third (which is still on as I'm hoping it'll kick in!) says 'sensor error' and that glucose readings are paused. I have had this before twice (out of 23 in total) with a Libre 2 and it never did start working again. The middle one just gave a not working error. They were in batches of two via the chemist just like all my other ones have been.

i've found with the glucose readings paused is usually proceeded by a rapid quick change of readings. have had before 3-4 hours before was ok. can also apaprently get if dehydrated advice abbotts gave before was to ensure drank at least 8 cups of water through the day. take it 'sensor error' had something with replace afterwards. should be able to get the sensors replaced. would be handier imo if pharmacy's were able to replcae rather than wait indoors for replacements for shipping which your not notified of day never mind a rough time. abbots usually are fairly decent at replacing faulty sensors.

you could see how you get on with: https://dexcom.com/en-GB/dexcom-one-plus-sample thats a 10 day free sample if not had one before.

theres also a newer freestyle libre select. (recently out in france might come to uk...) libre2plus trial in uk is currently paused for some odd reason. you could try ask them to replace with the libre3 to see if that works out better for you as another alternative option. imo would love to see a long term option become available in uk eg eversense 365 or simular.

I'll try the Dexcom, thank you. I've ordered another one from the doctor, and suggested a Libre 3 might be an option. (Also cheekily asked of there were any Libre 2s still knocking about!)

The glucose paused message is overlaid a SENSOR ERROR message in the background. I've never had a paused message in day-to-day use, only ever on first application.

I'll filled in all the return forms, they were very good with the other 2 that went wrong.

So I have been using Libre 2 for a while now and haven't had 1 sensor last 15 days. They have lasted between 8 hours and 11 days at best. I have found them very unreliable. Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone know why these sensors are so unreliable?
I have been using libre 2+ for nearly a year. I don’t think I have had any that don’t last the full 15 days. I am now on Omnipod 5 closed loop and the only issue I have is having to wear the sensor on my arm which means for connectivity I have to wear the pod there too. For that reason I am going to ask to change to Dexcom.

I have never had any issues at all, they last the full 15 days, so not sure why yours are not doing so! Contact Abbot and see if they can help! Hopefully the can resolve your issue.

I've never had any reliability issues *once they have intiated* but these three today haven't even got going. Since my last post the third one has been confirmed by the app as a dud. All three returns forms filled in.

In the couple of weeks I have had to replace two more Sensors through Abbots. They both last about 5 or 6 days and fell out. Since being on the libre 2 plus I have had far more drop out or simply stop working the I did on theprevious sensor.
Good that more people have found this thread on diabetes.co.uk and we are starting to see the extent and size of the issue. Will Abbotts improve their glue ?

last 2 sensors been fairly difficult to get off here. perhaps they've changed it a little.
can use likes of overpatches to help. i've found ensuring wash through dry then use a couple of pre-injection alcohol swabs to ensure that as much oil traces off assisted lots.

Just tossed one into the bin, it was giving readings that were less than half what a pair of finger prick meters gave.
Entertaining watching the Libre reporting that I was now dead of hypoglycaemia.
Once my blood sugar was approaching zero, out pops the "sensor error" flag.
I nickname mine "Starmer's"
