blood sugar test

Hello there!

I am looking for a cheap way to messure my blood sugar!

I see many fancy electronic (Junk!) stuff for sale online at a price that need not need be! I remember Granddad used to have a pin prick twist thing that would give a drop of blood a the end of ones finger, then he would dab that onto a bit of special litmus paper, and then it would turn a color then he'd compare it to a chat that would tell him how much sugar was in his blood. It is a bit of paper and a prick; very simple really no computer needed!

Where can I get such a thing please?

Do you have a particular reason to want to test your blood glucose?
You're only 24 years old and fit as a fiddle, presuming from your username, which means you don't fall in any risk category for T2.

If you have symptoms and think you may have diabetes, please make an appointment with your GP for a blood test.

Welcome to the forum.

Sounds closer to a pee test strip to me from your description of what "grandad" used. Not blood.
In 5 decades of testing one way or the other, I’ve never known of home BG testing done this way..

Oh I remember now yes that is it! when I join a forum and i am asked for my DOB. I always put down 09/11/2001 as it was another hoax day! As I do not want the likes of Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Ray curswells club and Co off getting there filthy mutts on my data (I hope you understand) PS I was born in the middle of 81 and 83

The challange is to beet the dock and make a mock of there (once again, see PCR tests) fakeary BS tests. Where I can get my blood sugars as low as possible, then book an appointment with the GP to try and get my capacity assesment (for my BS court hearing). then when they come and pester/ heras you. about can we take your woope do blood pressures and stuff. Then they take my blood pressure. I expect all hell to break loose and be told I have only 24 hours to live! Then I will pull my David Icke book out call the trap, and read a chapter from it and reasure them that it is all fake

Do you have a testing kit that I can get hold of to do the test at home first please?

You can buy blood glucose test kits at pharmacies. I do not know about urine test kits, but you can ask at a pharmacy.

Urine tests are for detecting glucose in urine. Non diabetics shouldn't have glucose in their urine so you'll test negative, unless you have diabetes.
