I am non diabetic and I have recently been diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia and I am struggling with 1am - 3am sweating and shaking. No matter what I eat in the day, no-carb or low-carb I get sweating and shaking in the early hours of the morning. I have tried no pre-bed snacks, and a number of pre-bed snacks and I still get the 1am - 3am roller coaster. Bellow are selection of my tested pre-bed snacks:
a tablespoon of peanut butter + a tablespoon of cottage cheese
1 slice of rye bread with avacado
1 boiled egg
1 glass of full fat milk
However none of these snacks work to stop the shaking and sweating.
Has anyone had similar experiences and were you able to stop the early morning sugar crashes?
Cheers
