I have been taking Januvia for about three weeks and now also MetFORMIN for about two weeks. Still having symptoms. Sugar is still up and down, but never in normal range. Am I just being and impatient patient? Thanks, ya'll. :)

Have you altered your diet in any way? Most of the members with T2, including myself find that reducing carbs & upping our fats & protein goes a long way to reducing numbers. I do less than 29g carb a day but I’m diet only, I’ve no experience of Januvia so can’t comment on that. But if it’s a med that can cause hypos be careful of reducing your carbs to quickly.

When you say having symptoms what do you mean? Are you testing you BG before & after meals to see if your BG is in range? The most important piece of info you can have is that from testing, otherwise you are just working blindly and have no idea if what you are eating or what you are doing is anyway good or bad.

Have a look in my signature - there’s a few links in there that may be helpful to you as a newly diagnosed

Exceptional advice - thank you! I need to test more often. Getting used to this is not easy, especially since I play music. But I will take your advice and hopefully in a week have more data to add so you might be able to help further. Thanks, again!
