navigate using the website forum using my phone help

Hello I'm trying to navigate using the website forum using my phone. Previously I’ve always used the diabetes App and find it easy to Ask a question or comment on What I've eaten today but in the website forum I'm having issues to add to the what I've eaten i see a reply but its using the reply to someone who has posted not replying to the actual forum. Hope this makes sense.

Hi, did you mean using the private message function using a phone browser on the website?
In the phone browser (Android.) I click on the member’s icon or name in the topic & a box will appear.
Then choose “send direct message.” Then you will get a way to message that person, like composing an email?

Hi @annabell1 , I think you are using the 'Reply' button directly under someones post (blue arrow). This copies that post to the reply box as a quote, like @Jaylee did with youir post above.
If you want to reply to a thread and not a particular post you can type directly in the box where it says 'Write your reply (green arrow).

Thank you @Antje77 @Jaylee that has helped for some reason I couldn't see the post reply to the post but know its seems to be working for me appreciate the help.
