Hello everyone,
You may have already heard: Ypsomed/mylife Diabetescare has announced that it will be discontinuing the mylife app, the mylife software, and the mylife Cloud by the end of December 2026.
As a replacement, they recommend switching to mylife Loop (CamAPS FX)—but for many of us, that’s simply not an option we want. I want to manage my insulin pump therapy myself. I want to decide for myself when I bolus, how I set my basal rate, and when I take pump breaks. And it’s precisely during these breaks that I use the mylife app as a bolus calculator for my ICT. This isn’t a convenience feature—it’s a medical tool I rely on.
Loop is a great option for anyone who wants it. But not everyone wants to or can switch to automated insulin delivery. And no one should be pressured into it just because the alternative is being discontinued without a replacement.
Our demand is clear: the mylife app and mylife software must remain available to everyone who wants to keep control of their own therapy—the non-Loopers!
What we can do:
Write directly to mylife Diabetescare and to the software manufacturer SINOVO and make it clear that you still need these tools.

The more feedback both companies receive, the greater the chance that they will respond. Please also bring this to the attention of your diabetes specialist or counselor—their voice carries extra weight.
