Is this type of humour OK, or is it too near the truth for today's youth  ?

I'd say it's a long, long way away from the truth and quite an offensive stereotype

You should live around my neck of the woods .. its like an epidemic and the beach at night in the warmer times is a hazard for families. Even the holiday park now has strict rules about age and lettings.

Makes you think doesn't it? :( RRB

We heard only last week that another sub 16 girl has been given 'leave' from the senior school. I really do fear for our country's future. Things were not like this in my day, but then I'll be 70 next April.

But even in the best case scenario you are tarring all with the same brush, what about the young people who are considerate and hard-working and do positive things for their communities?
I don't really want to get in to a debate about the state of the nation on what was supposed to be a fun thread but I get really frustrated when young people and especially teenage parents are targeted as the scourge of the universe when many are doing a fantastic job in the face of people expecting them to fail. Its a case of a whole group being judged by the actions of a very small minority.

Hey, I'm young! How could you do this to me!?

I wish we had a lot more teenagers like you in this area. Those that are always out and about here have become a menace, and even the two imitation beat police (10 til 3) no longer leave town and come out to the sea wall areas. Bad/rude behaviour was unheard off years back, but now it seems we must look the other way and never challenge for fear of reprisals. Only last year when I was out on stick for limited exercise along the foreshore, a group picking on a gull feeder turned on me when I went over to intervene...and before anyone mentions 999, I did use my mobile but despite my call, no police attended and none called to my address given at time of call.
Its mainly the alcohol to blame, and if they could not get hold of it they would probably be different.

To lighten the mood, here's a picture of a dog dressed as an ewok
