Does anyone have any feelings on the 24-hour glucose monitor the Medtronic Guardian REAL-Time System. How good is it, how much it costs, what's the lead time to get one fitted etc
Thanks

I got my medtronic pump on 9/12/13 and will be getting my cgm on 15/1/14, I'm looking forward to gettin it as when I was using pen injections I was havin no awareness of lows in the night. The hosp gav me a cgm for 5 days and the data showed that my levels were droppin between 3.0-2.4, so this helped me to get my pump and approval for cgm on 15th jan, I haven't had to pay, which worried me as I was told a box of five cgms was over £100 and the offer that was on til jan was buy first three boxes and get fourth free. But the hosp were able to support me gettin it for free with the backup of the cgm data. I'm looking forward to gettin the cgm.

The enlite is just the sensor the guardian real time is the seperate cgm reader
