Need some advice ASAP

Hi I have been doing a rehabilatation programme at work which has went really well.

However today I'm having a problem my manager has come out to see me at the store I'm doing my rehabilatation programme at and after a meeting with him I have been left really angry at him and the company I'm also stressed right out my bloods were fine I tested after the meeting and I have went from 7.8 to 9.8 in the space of 15 mins.

Iv tested again 30 mins later and I'm now 13.7 my levels are going up and up.

Should I continue to work or should I take insulin to bring them down am not sure as it is obviously stress and anger that has caused this what should I do ?
 
Whenever I found myself under stress in work and my BSs rising I would always take a bolus correction and more often than not have to put my pump up using the temporary basal option until things had calmed down a bit. Obviously during this time I tested more often as we'll hope things start to get better through the afternoon.

Iv never been in this situation before I have never had to take correction doses before and I'm unsure when and how to do them but is that what is need in my case ?

You can work out your correction dose using the 100 rule. Add up your total daily dose of insulin (basal and bolus) and divide it into 100. This will give the drop (in mmol/l) that each unit of rapid insulin will lower your BG by.

Say you took a total of 32 units insulin/day, (100/32 = 3) then each unit of rapid will drop your BG by 3 mmol/l

I take 16 units per day so 100/6 is 6.25 is taking 6 units of insulin safe as I don't take 6 units of rapid before any of my meals I take less than 6 most I take is 4.
