One thing that will get my fat burning is our poochies. We have two Lhasa Apso females and a Shih Tzu male. Bless him, he's bullied and taunted and takes it all in his stride. He's submissive and loves it.

The girls are pwincesses. They believe that nothing is above them and all their demands are met with equal haste and top standards. I love our dogs to pieces. Minnie and Sookie are tomboys at heart but mum here makes them girly with top knots and ribbons. Harley, (aka Fatboy Harley and Mr Harley Davidson), is 'ard. He walks around like he's carrying carpets under his arms and nothing gets passed him. Loads of fun with them on a daily basis.

When the weather's dryer, (if), it's long field walks. That should be fun when it comes to cow pats and the desire to roll in them. Bring it on!

I'm between dogs at the moment. - The hours I work, it just isn't possible. :( I do get to baby sit my brothers border terrier when he and his family are away, but I miss having a dog full time. :(

I currently have two (male) Cavalier King Charles spaniels, and a geriatric canary. My husband has an aquarium, and an outside fish pond too. He walks the dogs, and took over this "duty" when he took early retirement and I was still working, so I don't get the exercise that I should. But I do have a lot of fun with my two boys.

Crowds of people, my idea of hell would be a huge gathering of any sort!

Heights, scare me to death!
Liars, cheats. poseurs, any kind of violence, thieves and people who take advantage of others.

The way the world is going to hell in a handbasket.

Global warming, the melting ice caps, whaling..I mean what for?!

Cruelty

Having to give up my eat everything philosophy..and I really really dislike consequences.
Three cats two of whom are young boys who torment the hell out of the elderly cat that we inherited from my son when his relationship broke up. All of our kitties pay for their keep though, we regularly find dead mice and rats under the kitchen table! I mean we are grateful that at least they don't bring LIVE livestock into the house but it's a bit of a jolt first thing in the morning before my wake up coffee :wideyed:

We also have 6 laying hens but I am not sure if they count as pets. They sure do pay for their keep as well and we do spend a lot of our time saying stuff like 'Look at what they are doing now' so if providing amusement counts then our crazy chickens ARE pets :joyful:

Oh Pospy, it's not only cats that have that killer instinct! One of my previous Cavaliers was a real hunter and a seasoned ratter, and he also had a liking for pigeons and collar doves, which he did actually eat in part... He would sit still as a statue in the garden for hours waiting to pounce, and I often found dead rats and half eaten birds inside.

And his brother once brought me a live frog, but he hadn't a clue what to do with apart from showing it off to me!

My current two will kill small birds and we've had several of these brought inside too - today it was a poor little robin, which I found on the living room carpet.:(

My sister used to keep hens when her girls were little, and they were quite used to being picked up and cuddled by them.

I have a dog, Rodney. He's a pugXbeagle

And we got fish a few days ago. I'm terrified of killing them. The dog is far easier!

Dishonest people, pessimism, spiders, mushrooms.
I just have a stupid, fat cat who shouts when he's hungry and sleeps when he's not. I do love him though.

Tia is our almost 2 year old Shih Tzu who was a present from our daughter and son-in-law. We are pensioners and we love her to bits she is such a lovely companion and she gives us exercise by walking her every day and we can't imagine life without her now

He has the best character ever and is more like a dog than a cat.
