Stupid question but.....

My daughter has been diagnosed t1 from October last year we write every readin and insulin dose age in her diary and times etc is the sumting all diabetic do forever more?

Certainly not but in the early days it's very useful to record everything and in times when diabetes control goes out the window, some meters like the Accu-Chek Aviva Expert allow you to record your carb intake and advises you what insulin dose to take based on the information you put in, might be worth discussing this with your daughters DSN and see if they can give you this meter or one similar.

Well I actuali was given this meter from my diabetic nurse after my carb counting course it hasn't seen daylight it looks so complicated but that aside I feel like if I am ever goin to train my family to b involved will it b hard for them plus she's started to prick her own finger to! I'm nearly sure she had said to me if u use it that has to b the onli finger pricker u use

give her the meter to play with, I always get my grandkids to do my electronic stuff. She will probably have it worked out in an hour
