I've been in a similar position, but I had to get the results because one of my children was being investigated for a related condition that might be inherited. I couldn't face asking the GP, so I asked at reception how to get my results, and to my surprise they printed them off for me on the spot. Worth a go! And if you do get them and don't understand them, just ask on this forum. She also never gave any specific details for the blood test results. And after starting from an argumentative position over the pain I was left feeling uncomfortable for the rest of the appointment that I was unable to ask so I do not know how high my levels were.
