Does anyone know how to persuade their health centre that I really do need to have a supply of the cassettes for my Accu chek Mobile, as in say one a month?
I take it with me when dog walking and at the end of the walk, so that I am safe to walk back again, use it to do a test, with dextro in my pocket can easily use the test cassette whilst attached to dog and get home safely and not too hypo which is far safer for both me, the other road users and said dog.
My surgery says that I do not need this, I have a blood testing kit already - yes, true, but it has separate test strips and a separate lancet, not practical in a pocket, far too large along with balls, keys, dog bags, etc. The Accu chek mobile is exactly what I need and now I am not allowed to have cassettes. Help please if anyone has been in this situation.
