Hi guys, Josh here. 19 years old and been Diabetic since I was 3 years old. Just got a few questions about doing a working holiday with Diabetes. First of all Im currently in Australia living with my dad for the year and I brought a sufficient amount of insulin which will last me for a few months, also signed up with medicare so no problem with getting a prescription for insulin. Im thinking about doing some travelling soon living in hostels and doing some fruit picking so I can get my second year visa extension. Does anyone have any tips on storing insulin supplies? I know some hostels have fridges in common rooms and things but not to sure about leaving them in plain sight with people I don't really know. Also next year im thinking about travelling Asia, maybe Thailand for a few weeks, does anybody have any info about getting insulin or supplies like needles in Thailand? just doing some research about it now, nothing wrong with planning ahead is there? Much appreciated guys.
