"A new you in 42"

Hi campers :)

No lunchtime walks this week as I have to cover for someone. Hoping for a wee dance about later, but have work home with me too...meh. I am still popping in for a read of the forum though (in case they find a cure and I miss it!)

@cold ethyl Eddie Vedder - yum yum :hungry:

OMG LOL, have no clue what that means?

Edit: I thought I was down wiv the kids. Obviously nit!

Edit: edit: not not nit!

I made that up, just to divert the bullies attention away from me.

Yes I can't work out why he isn't mine.

My almost 7 year old would give them a run for their money. Infact my youngest is well hard so I might let her deal with you. Or maybe my eldest who broke my nose by head butting me when she was 3. I blame the father!
Hey Scandichic,
I have a well hard daughter too. At Age13 months she headbutted me in the mouth. I lost two teeth to that. She had not a mark on her.
Take note anyone picking on me and my mate Scandichic.

After the above diversion from the topic in hand, I spent the entire day in a meeting room listening to a talk on the joys of Microsoft software licensing (don't ask why) so was happy to take a 45 minute walk when I got home.
Thank you Julifriend. I think we need a voice of reason, but it is half term and we are out of school.

Back to business. Today I walked round supermarket for twelve minutes. Swam very fast for 15 minutes nonstop, then did 30 minutes intense aquafit exercise. I feel great!

Also had latest HbA1c results and consultation with nurse. HbA1c = 41, which is just into diabetic risk range, and slightly raised from last test 3 months ago. However, considering I have been fairly immobile for months and had major surgery, plus surviving on food cooked by others that is a pretty good result. So much so that I am no longer on metformin. If next test result is good I will be off diabetes register. Cholesterol, BP etc also good. Post-diabetic?
If so hope I can stay with forum. I need you guys!

Actually, this puts me in mind of my self diagnosis before I got the real one. I thought I had sudden urge incontinence ha ha

Now I'm in grave danger of developing stress incontinence!!

Edit: I'm referring to the SUSPMD

Pipp,

Well done on your HbA1c results. I've been to see the nurse today too!
