What is appears to be saying is that there was no difference found in the effects of which type of basal has on the HbA1C, but a better , lower one is achieved on a twice daily regime .
It's always puzzled me that HCP's have known for a long time that the duration of both Glargine and Levemir is less than 24 hours duration, therefore leaving X hours basal free until the next dose. Surely that makes control more difficult ?
