How low is too low??

in December 2012 my HbA1C was 31.0
In March 2013 it went up to 33.0
In August 2013 it went down to 32.0
June 2014 it was 27.0

Obviously this all looks great and there will be some thinking whats her problem, BUT... I have a conversion table given to me when I attended my x-pert course which shows 41 - 49 as being excellent control and for 31 - 40 to rule out hypoglycaemia. I'm now thinking mines even lower than that, yet I still have symptoms - having to get up every night, constantly tired, poor healing, thirst etc.

What would you do/think?

Are you type 1 or 2, and what meds are you on?
I think Bluetit has asked a very relevant question.

For Type 1's the risk of going too low is much more serious than for Type 2's. For Type 2's the liver will normally kick out glucose to help you out if it feels you are too low. (I sometimes wish I could have a conversation with my liver about that, though!)

Your numbers are very good. The numbers you are quoting are for insulin or oral drugs that can induce hypo.
Metformin is normally ok if your food intake is ok. Look up side effects. You shouldn't see less than 3.5 as normal on a home meter
You can also ask the nurse to drop to 2tabs with your good numbers

As to your symptoms get your dr to look elsewhere besides diabetes
