So my sugars are fine HBA1C is the lowest it has ever been but I am still so god **** tired all the time...why??????

Are you burning the candle at both ends? It's fair to say if the tiredness is causing you problems Nicola you should see your gp and have blood tests done.

They will more than likely test for anaemia, thyroid problems or even coeliac disease if need be, there's many causes including stress. Burning the candle at both ends means doing too much and not getting enough rest.

Oh yay! Well all I do is go to work 9-5:30 (sitting at a desk) and then go home and sleep at like 10ish or whenever I am tired but there are days when I feel like I haven't slept at all! Today for instance just constantly yawning :(

Maybe best to have a check-up if the tiredness is worrying you.

Sciatica....prevents me from doing much :(

Yes of course, not getting out in the fresh air does make you drowsy, hopefully when your sciatica gets better you will be able to get back out again and exercise. The tiredness might just be a side-effect of the meds your taking for the pain, better to get checked out if this isn't the case.

I don't take anything for the pain lol....tough cookie....joke! Nothing works! :(

I'm tired a lot, I've also got a blood disorder at the mo but I try my best to exercise and feel optimistic, I'm sure that you will start to improve as your blood is renewed every 3 months and with your improved HbA1c levels will make your blood less sticky. Hope this helps

Nicola - Are you bored? If you aren't stimulated enough, boredom can manifest itself as fatigue.

If you are able to post on here during working hours, you're not fully engaged there.

Bored..... YES I never thought it could affect me this much though....I don't really seem to pay attention much when I am not here....I don't think I yawn as much as I do at work....who knows!
