Posting a question for a friend - Carbohydrate content of Alpro drinks

Hi,

A friend of mine has asked if I could post a question asking if anyone knows about the carbohydrate content in the Alpro range of dairy - free drinks e.g. Coconut Rice and Hazelnut original. How much do they actually contain and can diabetics drink them at all?

Many thanks,

Ellis

Thanks very much. I haven't actually bought many Alpro products myself apart from the one that states it is sugar and salt free but my friend has and says she couldn't make from reading the list of contents exactly what they contain from this respect.

If your friend is concerned about the carb content of milk tell them to try Lacto-Free milk, it has around half the carbs as normal milk and tastes no different, it's slightly higher in price but would be on par with the likes of the Alpro milk range.

Thanks very much indeed.
