- Feeling I can never eat anything sweet again or anything with carbs. But thought of diabetes complications scares me more so it is a no brainer!
Hi @Etty - I know what you mean, but I need to see what different carbs do to my BS levels. I plan to eat a slice of low carb bread - made with spelt flour, or one of the two we can buy off the shelves - and see what happens. I do know that I have a low trigger for diabetes (according to my GP) so will need to be careful my whole life, but having reached my target and worked so hard to do it, I am not going to undo all this hard work. But I want to have as normal a life as possible with regard to food! It took me years and years to eat myself to 17.5 stones, and absolutely no exercise, so I suspect it will take some time to sort out what I can eat and how much to maintain both my weight and BS levels. Many people lose lots of weight then promptly put it all on again and more! But this is simply not an option for me.
@Spiker - I LOVE your atavar and imagine you looking like this and cracking jokes in a drole, wry and satirical way. Hope things are going better for you health wise.
