Hello. Your long acting? You'll be fine, sometimes I take it late if I've been out and always been ok :)

Just since June. How about you?
The long acting insulin releases slowly, so not loads each hour. If you're worried you could just check your sugar more, but you'll be fine :)

What insulins are you using ?
How many units ?
Would be helpful to know .

If its your basal long acting insulin it will have long cover time .
If it is your quick acting insulin - you may need a nibble of something .

I also have a daily repeating alarm on my phone for my long acting insulin to remind me to take it at the same time every day

An hour and a half will make little difference when taking your basal insulin, you might have experienced a slight rise in bg but it wouldn't be much. The good thing is you eventually remembered to take it :)

Emmotha tip on setting a phone alarm is a good one, also you can get devices that fit on the end of insulin pens that tell you when you last injected, ideal for those times when you doubt yourself if you've taken your insulin or not, one such device is called Timesulin.

If you use Novorapid at meal-times, you should ask your gp/consultant for the NovoPen Echo, it has a built-in memory function and also dials up in half units.
