I'm not sure if this is on track but Izzy's first post in the thread starts
Denise Minger a (paleo blogger with absolutely no qualification but a lot of influence in the Paleo community for her tearing apart of the China study puts up a Devils Advocate account) describes here that there have been very good recorded results in respect to both the control of diabetes and CVD and kidney problems with the complete opposite to HFLC ie
very low fat diets (10% fat) so necessarily very high carb diets . Personally, I've recently come across many people who eat in this way and are just as vociferous as those who espouse HFLC
.
I would myself find this sort of diet hard,
I don't eat like this and eat considerably more fat but I also would not like to eat LCHF if that meant 70%+ fat.. My own diet is far more influenced by a Med diet so maybe I just sit in the middle!
I offer it as food for thought no more, you don't even have to comment . But just consider, what would happen if someone suggested this on an opening thread as the way to go, what the reactions would be, would they stay here on this forum or go elsewhere?
