Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

8.3 this am which means going to be high the rest of the day grrrr
 
5.1 for me today, day at home today with my eye on sorting out at least one cupboard, cleaning the cooker- as long as I have my music on all will be fine!
 
6.3 .The sun is lovely here in Rochester,If its same for you Kimbo I would leave your cupboard and cooker,they will keep,get your self out x

I know you are only teasing but that really does not sound like me at all.

You are right, of course, life is not fair. Otherwise there would not be so much suffering all around us.

But I do not believe that life has been unfair to me personally.

At the risk of sounding conceited, in many ways, I count myself blessed and am thankful for this.

Even diabetes has so far been little more than an inconvenience and in some ways I am now a lot healthier than I was pre diagnosis.

Of course the risk of some pretty horrendous health complications from diabetes is always there but I am trying my best to increase my chances of keeping them at bay.

Even this risk is a reminder not to take things for granted, to take time to appreciate life.

By the way I managed to bring my glucose down to a more acceptable 5,5 following a 12km two and a half hour walk.

6.0 here, but went to bed on 6.4 so at least I don't seem to have a significant morning liver dump issue these days (tempting fate there!).
 
6.7 this morning....but 8.6 by the time I was ready for breakfast... grrr starting to hate my liver :(

It's gorgeous and sunny here too Patricia ! I'm going to have Windows open, music on.......lately I'm just getting the urge to sort out?!!! Having a day in town with my cousin tomorrow, forecast is good all week I believe ; )
 
I think so..partly because I'm full of snuffles still. And partly because I had a late night snack of beetroot and 2 pickled onions. Not like me but craved some. Otherwise I may have been a bit lower today...
 
5.1 will accept that happily, I don't seem to be able to get lower in the mornings, but pleased.

Lovely morning in Cyprus as well, bright sunshine on grass still wet from last night's rain.
