Smallest syringe in the world

I have been a type 1 diabetic for 26 years. Of course this came about with complete surprise as I couldn't have been healthier at the time - total healthy eating and aerobics and/or gym training 6 days a week and then started feeling the onslaught of high blood sugar symptoms (there is zero diabetes in my family)

I would love some feedback on you having the advantage of using the smallest syringe in the world which is available and perfect to take out with you instead of our pen.
I finally realised this when I was going to a Gala dinner on Friday and my pen, as usual, didn't fit in my evening bag - so I put 6 units in the little syringe and popped it into my bag - it is so useful and before I go bananas with joy I would like to know if you would buy these little syringes - cost is very very reasonable for boxes of 50 or 100 ???
 
I don't think I could go back to using a syringe Jessica, I quite like using a pen and find it much more convenient, going back to using syringes would be like going back to the dark ages, plus I like the memory feature that come on the pens like the NovoPen Echo, but if it suits your circumstances then that's great.

Hi

That would be very useful for some of the animal insulins, which only come in vials rather than pen cartridges.
Could you post more about them?

absolutely true - I have been using my pen forever BUT the pen does not fit in my evening bags 98% of the time - I want to have some feedback - like yours! Thanks a million - we shall see

Retail price fro the smallest syringe in the world is about €19.90 for a package of 100 syringes
but this price then decreases according to a sliding scale of orders and or distributors - but I have to get further information. The 'owner' of this syringe gave me a small pack and I realise how incredibly useful they are - in fact I have had them in my medicine cupboard for a while and then finally started using them. It is very interesting Wildfire - I also used the pump in USA over 20 years ago - which was fantastic - but I no longer use it since having moved from USA. (FYI)

Looking at your picture the syringe looks fine, but I'd much rather have a smaller insulin pen than a small syringe for the reason stated earlier, but I know you ladies do like things compact to fit into bags and such so the syringe you've mentioned is ideal :)

YouTube are showing a video of the syringe from the Diabetes Hand Foundation. You are able to fill the syringe from your pen and it also marks when you take your dose. Seems to be readily available. Neat

hi Wildfire - Yes this is the same product - Daily Dose. I'm going to ask him where I can get them from in the UK....
